SPAMS 2006 San Francisco trip

Day 2
From Bend, OR around the Mt Bachelor and then to Crater Lake National Park. No traffic and great road.  Crater Lake was a beautiful ride and scenery, see pictures below. We drove down I5 by Ashland and 100 yards in front of David a deer bounded across our lanes, cleared the divider then made it across one more lane and leaped up right into the path of a truck. We then got off on HWY 96 via the Klamath river, 192 miles of clear road all kinds of twisties and along the river to Eureka. A truly great road.

Ride break and swapping bikes for a while

Watching the Fifa World Cup Championship game.

Rest stop at Hwy 96 (192 miles of bliss)

This must have been the only piece of straight road in the whole 192 miles

Not sure what it is but I wanted a picture with it.

Another nature call break, heh
