SPAMS 2006 San Francisco trip

Day 1
We had a great day going via Mt. Rainier then Mt. St. Helen's park then along the Columbia River to Mt. Hood then SE to Bend.  Great weather and a total of 415 miles.  Mt. St. Helen's was the highlight.  Lots of turns, great views and some rough road.  I got stung in the left ankle by a Yellow Jacket that flew into my helmet via open visor and out through the bottom of the helmet.  Guess it crawled dawn my pant leg and into the boot where it stung me while I was going 60+ mph.  Felt like I stepped on a piece of glass bare foot.  Pulled over and dragged the insect out.

Saturday morning all packed and ready to go
